About Me

Here is
My Story
Welcome to my world!
I’m Salsa Purnama Sari, a Cultural Anthropology graduate with a passion for understanding the intricacies of human behavior and social dynamics. My journey has been anything but conventional, and I’m excited to share the experiences and passions that have shaped who I am today. This website is more than just a portfolio—it’s a reflection of my personal and professional journey, where creativity meets purpose.
A bit about me
I’ve always been fascinated by how people, cultures, and systems work together to shape our world. This curiosity drove me to pursue a degree in Cultural Anthropology, where I explored the socio-cultural landscapes and discovered my love for storytelling, research, and creative problem-solving. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse environments, from research at PT Trisakti Pilar Persada to asset and art data management at Kompas Gramedia’s Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta.
Beyond my formal education, I’ve been fortunate to immerse myself in the world of events and community engagement. Whether it was leading creative concepts for symposiums or getting hands-on experience as part of event teams, I learned the value of collaboration, attention to detail, and adaptability. These experiences have shaped my perspective and given me the tools to thrive in different fields—from Human Resources and UX Research to Digital Marketing and Creative Project Management.

My interests have expanded far beyond my early passion for art and culture documentation, especially through photography, which has been my creative outlet since high school. Over the years, this hobby evolved, allowing me to be involved in various events and activities where I handled documentation tasks. One of the most significant opportunities I had was during my internship at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta, where I took part in the photo documentation team. Seeing my work published on their Instagram page, @bentarabudayayk, was a defining moment for me, reinforcing my passion for capturing stories through images.
While my love for photography remains strong, my curiosity and interests have broadened to other dynamic fields. I’m particularly drawn to Human Resources, People Development, and Project Management, where I see endless potential to apply my creativity and problem-solving skills in new ways. The idea of working closely with teams, fostering growth, and managing impactful projects excites me just as much as crafting visual stories once did. My experiences in research, event management, and content creation have equipped me with the versatility needed to explore these areas.
What excites me the most is the opportunity to be in spaces where creativity meets strategy—whether it's working on a human-centered research project, planning development programs, or managing projects that bring people together. I am eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in these fields, knowing that every new experience is a chance to grow both professionally and personally. The evolving world of HR, Project Management, and Creative Industries offers the kind of variety, challenge, and opportunity I thrive on, and I'm excited about the endless possibilities ahead.
