Journalistic journey

My first publication journalistic journey with Kognisi.id (powered by Kompas Gramedia) x Jurnalisme Berkebangsaan on the Tiba Bersua program in Bandung
Becoming a writer has been another dream of mine since my school days. As time went on, I began to understand the broad scope of writing – encompassing various roles like being a Journalist, Blogger, Reviewer, Content Writer, Script Writer, Copywriter, Editor, Story Writer, and even a Ghostwriter. As time passes, this dream has slowly faded amidst shifting obligations and pursuits of other aspirations. However, I've come to realize my desire to reignite that dream. While recognizing that familiarizing oneself with the writing world isn't easy, I am eager to learn and master its intricacies.
This dream serves as a bridge for me to express thoughts, emotions, and responses to life's occurrences – encompassing aspects of the environment, socio-cultural dynamics, economic issues, and individual perspectives. It's indeed challenging to acquaint oneself with the world of writing. On one hand, I am earnestly pursuing various dream professions, typical of young adults, to support my livelihood. On the other hand, I yearn for my dreams, habits, and interests to find proper expression.
Eventually, the opportunity to partake in the 'Tiba Bersua' event in Bandung, initiated by the Kognisi.id team powered by Kompas Gramedia – a company where I once interned – feels like a significant chance for me. Beyond writing, this offers a grand opportunity for me to channel my passion for photography, exploration, interacting with locals, understanding products through a social lens, and seeing our work published in a printed book. Our collective work, featured in a book by young journalists titled "Tiba Bersua: Katuangan Bagja Boemi Pasundan," which contains a compilation of legendary culinary heritage stories specific to Bandung, can be viewed in a flip book format accessible below.
